Class 9MA are working with primary colours in art lessons following the half term break. Each session start with individual students being shown their personal timetable. This helps them to anticipate the learning ahead.
A brief movement breaks gets everyone full of energy and focussed for the art to follow.
Class members are carrying out different activities based on their learning objectives. Some of the students are painting the primary colours, and then mixing them to see what the outcome is.
Another activity involves some students creating a red hand print, and then a blue hand print. We rubbed our hands together to mix the colours, and then created a third hand print to see what new colour could be created.
