Silver Class have started to read a new book following the half term break. The children are learning all about the different animals in the book Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear?
Our classroom now has a large polar bear display. This helps the children to recognise the main characters.
Plenty of sensory learning is taking place. The children are playing with toy animals in some fake snow made out of flour.
Our Home Corner has become a space for the children to make some food for the polar bears. We are also using play dough to cut out polar bear shape patterns.
A new feature for Silver Class is the use of some key words around out outdoor space. The words relate to the activities on offer. Staff members are working with the children to make the connection between the words and what takes place in each space.
