Silver Class have started a new spring term topic learning about growth. We are looking at seeds and how they can grow into plants. The children have created a wonderful class display showing some plants that were made from hand prints.
We will soon start to plant our own seeds as we look forward to spring. The children will take care and observe any growth in the plants and vegetables.
We are reading the story Titch to help with this learning. Our early work has helped the children to become familiar with some of the characters and items in the story.
They have posted various pictures into a box. Teaching staff ask the children to select a specific picture. This helps with their identification of the characters in the story.
We are also continuing with our healthy eating topic. We are helping each child to understand the importance of eating plenty of fruit and vegetables.
