Year 16+ Students Prepare Fresh Pasta in Food Tech

The 16+ students recently made some fresh pasta as part of their food tech learning. They followed the instructions to create the pasta. We used flour and eggs to make the mixture.

Kneading skills were needed to prepare the dough. The pasta was then rolled through a cutting machine to help create tagliatelle style slices.

This lesson also coincided with the celebration of a class members’ birthday. The birthday girl was presented with a small cake and some candles to blow out as other friends sung Happy Birthday.
