The Year 11 students are working on an athletics and cricket mash up as part of their PE topic for this term. An obstacle course has been set up around the school gym. The students are asked to complete this individually, and then improve their techniques with each attempt.
The first challenge on the course is to jump over some hurdles that increase in height. Next up is a run of smaller hurdles where we could increase our speed.
The obstacle course then included a long jump exercise. The final activity involved throwing three tennis balls at the cricket stumps.
We finished our PE session with some shared circle time as we calmed down with a stretching routine.
