Green Class will be reading Jack and the Beanstalk throughout the remainder of the summer term at Turney School. We have already started this work by learning how to sequence the story in the correct order. We will soon move on to look at what is meant by past and present tense, and how both of these ideas can help us with our storytelling.
This work will also take on a practical element – it is too much of a god opportunity not to miss planting and growing some Green Class beanstalks! The pupils will be making regular trips to the nearby Turney School allotment during the summer term. We are also going to be growing some plants. We are hopeful of being able to share these during our Green Class assembly later on in the term.
